You know you are in Mumbai University’s Kalina Campus when…


You have to walk a mile to the canteen or the main gate.

You need a map to get to the department you want to reach.

You think you are the worst lost and found case when people come to you for directions.

There are only three decent places on the campus- the new revamped ICSSR Restaurant Cum Guest House, the artificial lake and the University’s community radio station – MUST Radio.

You know the number of trees here easily wins over the number of trees in Rani Baug.

You could be pottyied on by more than a hundred species of birds found in the campus on the very first day of your classes.

You can’t tell students from the professors and most of your female classmates would either be moms, just married or to be married next month.

You see more Buddhist monks and students of African and Chinese origins than ‘sons of the soil’.

You see departments selling their courses on every single tree in sight.

You see buildings named after each and every person who had participated in the freedom struggle.

..im hoping to get in st francis college-engineering...plz..answer these ques..would be a real help....
ho'ws the crowd like???..i get that its an engineering college so would'nt exactly be las vegas...but in general..is it beter than...bunch of guys discussing abt mithun chakarvarti...and girls who would get pissed if u do not maintain 3meter distance from them..???...and are there any hot women ???...any gud places to hang out...???..(close to the coll...obviously)...and is basketball followed seriously there??
