I think the entire concept of Roadies is a farce...the contestants do everything but ride bikes...very rarely will you see them on the streets...they are mostly in their rooms bitching bout each other...

Basically, i don't understand what is the point of the show...What do they want to achieve? Like if you see other reality shows, say Indian Idol - so, am a singer(at least thats what I have been awarded the title for)...if I am Voice of India Winner - I am a singer...if I am a winner at Boogie Woogie - i am dancer...so on and so forth....

So, What am I when I am a Roady?? Will i be known as an Adventurous person (they ask contestants to race up arbit mountains)? Will I be known as a Biker (I doubt!)? Will I be known as an Orator/Speaker (they conduct a GD for selection...god knows why!)? or Am I just some arbit person who has become famous (temporarily) for no apparent reason or talent that I possess....Just like that!

I dunno what the show is all about....please explain somebody....

The interview itself is a bullshit.

True!!. This show is one of the funniest shows in Television. "Attitude determines your altitude" .I read this line somewhere and today I can see it in this Mtv Roadies show. Its; scripted, non adventurous, fake show. People, who are interviewing have different definition for an attitude of a person.

I feel pity because they are sending wrong message to the younger generation who has least knowledge of self depth psychology. It’s just fame and money matters now. Not the hard reality of life which is waiting in other end.

I watch this show, because it’s funny. Another chance to understand the human psychology. I thought they had watched 'Fear Factor' at least once before they started making Roadies. Hmm...re-creating something real is very tough job!! I can understand :D

see, what do you think is your way of thinking .There are many people who are adventurous ,they like those things which low thinking people like you don't like. Actually its out of your reach ang so you can't imagine about it. so if you don't like it plz. don't watch it.

What does 'out of our reach' mean exactly?

@ Neelshardul Wadke - I think in a great democratic civilized society like our's all of us have the right to voice our opinion, even if it is as faulty as your's. So, however 'low my thinking' maybe, i can still speak my opinion out.

Its good to like adventure and I respect people who like it and follow it as a passion...'Adventure' is not just climbing a hill and coming back down as fast as you can, 'adventure' is not to ride on bikes from one destination to another and play games like selling bhel-puri, etc to arbit people on the streets, 'adventure' is certainly not riding on the back of a bike and aiming at the basket with the ball and to try and get maximum hits at that, 'adventure' is not answering silly questions via SMS and asking boys to strip if the answers are wrong, 'adventure' is certainly not staying in a room, running around in towels, bitching about each other, etc.

If people say they are adventurous, if the show claims its adventurous they must watch a certain 'Who dares wins' and other such shows on AXN channel to realise what real adventure means...Maybe they cant imitate those really dangerous adventurous games here, but they can at least try to scale half way through...

Showing trash in the name of 'Adventure' is fooling people to increase TRPs and I don't think such shows should be encouraged...the people you talk of are far from 'adventure'...

Very True.... They are just sending wrong message to youth. Youngsters got different definition for word 'attitude' now

Yup. Surya says it right. Adventure is something you go with a deep interest and explore something different of your choice. You cannot be forced or judged for an adventure. Just saying it straight, Roadies is commercial and all it wants is to make cash out of it without thinking about the impact of it on the youth of the society.,

@ En-trance - am very happy that youngsters like you and Manoj are not getting carried away by such shows.

Hmm... Its hard to find one inspiring program or channel. Everything has been comercialized. Love to Life :). In fact, channels started dividing India into apart I guess. Like, News, south indian news.Even national level reality shows will not come down to south for auditions.

Media must be responsible for things they are projecting to audience and country.

Yes, Roadies is becoming just like any other TV serial saga, adding all the masala for the TRP's.The show has lost the essence with which it was initially launched, more than biking we get to see the bitching, moreover roadies in the show cant even drive a bike and by chance if they get to drive and the first thing you get to know is about an accident.Coming to the show,Raghu is cleverly eliminating people and keeping the people of his choice and making it one sided, the bitches from Delhi are no good except for the make up and the attitude, right kinda people are shown the door. The bangalore Lad Nihal is no good and the worst competitor on the show and just for the masala that he adds to the show with Shambhavi and Anmol,he is being kept alive in the show. What can we expect more?
