Win 50 CDs of the new JAL album!

Jal, the band behind the hit songs ‘Woh Lamhe’, ‘Aadat’ and ‘Teri Yaad’ have returned with their second album Boondh – A Drop of Jal. The album, which is already successful in Pakistan, released recently in India on March 27, 2008. We caught up with founding member and lead guitarist of Jal, Goher Mumtaz to ask him about the new album, it’s music video and what the future holds for Jal:

•Your first album was a huge breakout success thanks to singles like Woh Lamhe and Aadat. Do you think this album has songs of the same caliber?

We are very confident and excited about the new material that we have put out. The 2 music videos released in Pakistan ‘Sajni’ and ‘Chaltay Chaltay’ have already become big hits. In fact ‘Chaltay Chaltay’ surpassed the success of ‘Sajni’. Apart from these songs, I believe ‘Humein Itna Pyaar’ which is a trademark, melodic Jal song and ‘Main Mast Hoon’ which has a Sufiyana twist to it are songs to watch out for.
